Murphy's Wedding Package, Lake Tahoe 2011

Because planning a wedding together should be as joyous as planning your lives, Murphy's are proud to provide Ceremony and Reception packages to ease the coordination for your day.

Ceremony

The wedding ceremony, conducted in our outdoor rose garden and gazebo at Murphy's Irish Pub, includes the following:

Minister on-site to lead you through the secular or non-denominational vows of your choice*
Rose or seasonal fresh-flower, Tahoe-themed boutonniÃ¨re for the groom, and hand-tied bouquet for the bride; long-stem arrangements for the Maid of Honor and Best Man.
Professional wedding photography including a minimum of eighty digital images. Our photographers use a state-of-the-art digital Nikon system with 10.2 mega pixels and off camera flash for gorgeous results. Compact Disc(s) containing all your digital photography will be Priority Mailed to your home the very next day.

(Our wedding photographs were recently published on the cover [and a full page inside] of People magazine. Your wedding imagery will be archived by High Mountain Weddings for a minimum of one year in case of loss. All images are the property of the client.)
As an additional option, ceremonies may be performed at the local outdoor location of your choice, such as Emerald Bay, ($125 for 25 guests max) or Regan Park West, ($350 for 120 guests max). This includes transportation in our luxury stretch Lincoln limousine town car (for 2 hours) and California champagne to toast.

Receptions

Held at Murphy's Irish Pub, your wedding reception will be catered by our professional, courteous staff. Our wedding banquets are inspired by the best in traditional cuisine from around the world. We are pleased to offer many vegetarian options and many international cuisines (not just Irish).

And if there is anything specific that you would like, please just let us know!

Garden

Outside for the summer months, May-October, we offer an outside fully enclosed private Rose Garden and Patio with a wooden Gazebo, seating 50-300 guests. This green Lawn and Stone Patio Rose Garden enclosure is the perfect setting for wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners featuring soft mood lighting, superior Bose music sound system and a large patio area for dancing the night away.

Our Outside Private Rose Garden usually has a minimum rental fee of $575 for the first three hours. This would include the rental of all chairs, tables, silverware, flatware, white linens and use of our "Bridal Lounge" to relax and includes a complimentary Bottle of Champagne.
THIS IS INCLUDED AT NO EXTRA COST WHEN CHOOSING OUR WEDDING PACKAGE.

You are always welcome to extend this time with us for enjoyment and dancing. This would incur an additional charge of $150 per hour.

We encourage you to bring your own personal iPod or CD's to play the music and volume of your choice through our superior music system, acting as your own DJ. There is no charge for this service. Just bring an Ipod and we will do the rest!

Pricing

Our Murphy's Wedding package, including Ceremony, Photography, Flowers, Reception banquet and set-up for 30 guests** is $3,500 plus 8.75% tax and 20% gratuity.

Reserving Your Package

A $1000 deposit for the Ceremony & Reception is required to hold a time slot for all wedding packages. These deposits may be charged to a credit card and are subject to our terms and conditions.

Cakes

Locally made quality wedding cakes may be ordered upon request;

We do not charge for cake cutting!

* The bride and groom will need to bring a valid picture ID (such as driver's license, passport or military ID). If either member of the couple has divorced within the past 90 days, the divorce paperwork will need to be present at the ceremony.

** For every additional guest, a charge of $40.00 will be added to the final account.

About Murphy's Irish Pub

We offer first class wedding receptions, birthday parties, company events and family reunions.

Our waitstaff and bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and professional.

Yvonne and Keith Simpson (owners and managers) opened Murphy's Irish Pub & Rockwater Restaurant in 1996.

Yvonne and Keith Simpson were married in September 2006 at Edgewood Golf Course in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
